Announcing My New Blog: All Gluten-Free Desserts … All the Time
This post is linked to Gluten-Free Wednesdays and Allergy-Free Wednesdays.
Hi, all! And Happy Thanksgiving if you live in the United States and celebrate this holiday! Personally, I love Thanksgiving because it’s all about family, friends, good food, togetherness, and gratitude. Speaking of being grateful and celebrating all that is good in life, I have a big announcement today! I’ve launched a new blog, All Gluten-Free Desserts … All the Time. I started All Gluten-Free Desserts because I wanted to create a “go to” spot for anyone who needs a gluten-free dessert—including those new to living gluten free; friends and family members of those gluten free; those who are not only gluten free, but also have additional restrictions; and those who are not gluten free, but love fabulous gluten-free recipes like flourless chocolate cake and crème brulee. Likewise, I wanted to be able to share desserts in all categories … Gluten-Free Cakes, Gluten-Free Pies, Gluten-Free Cookies, Gluten-Free Ice Cream, and so forth. Within the dessert categories on this blog, you’ll find recipes that are what I call mainstream gluten free (gluten free only and usually a bit more indulgent), gluten-free and dairy free, gluten free and refined sugar free, paleo, vegan, etc. I also wanted to start a blog that would not only be truly helpful, but also would be fun and “feel good”! It’s indisputable that desserts make us happy. With this site, even when we are not actually making these desserts, we can still “ooh” and “ahh” over them, right? Exactly.
A large motivation for me in creating this new desserts blog is the fact that I simply love sharing recipes from my many incredible blogger friends. The resources offered by the blogging community for the gluten-free reader are vast. I am going to absolutely love being able to feature terrific bloggers and their amazing gluten-free dessert recipes over on All Gluten-Free Desserts … All the Time. And I hope that you, in turn, will love what is being shared there.
There’s already some content on the new desserts blog, but not everything is quite yet perfectly in place. If I waited for that to happen, it might be a while before the launch! Plus, I have a history of launching blogs on the eve of holidays. This blog, gfe, launched almost 4 years ago on New Year’s Eve, and I think that has gone pretty well. And, last, I wanted you all to be able to have tons of great gluten-free dessert recipes in time for your holiday celebrations this year. Oh and the image at the top is one of the several headers for All Gluten-Free Desserts … All the Time. These “rotating” headers were designed by my talented friend Lexie of Lexie’s Kitchen! My new blog’s overall design, setup, etc. comes via the expertise and diligence of Jennette Fulda of Make My Blog Pretty (who also maintains gfe)! So now … go … take a look and enjoy yourself!

Hi Angela–Thank you so much, for both the Thanksgiving wishes and for cheering All Gluten-Free Desserts on!
As I’ve told you before, you might hold the record for making the most gfe desserts, and definitely I’d say you hold it for making the Perfect Pound Cake (and a multitude of ways, I might add!)! So, all that said, what was the latest gfe recipe that you made? Inquiring minds want to know …
Hugs,
Shirley
Awwww (blushing) – I made your gluten free, dairy free crustless pumpkin pie, times 3 (yes, that’s right, triple recipe) and it turned out perfect and it tasted mighty fine for breakfast this morning too
I’ll send you some pictures as to what went on in the kitchen….
Angela–LOL … but, I’m betting that you fed a crowd yesterday, and you had to be adequately prepared, right?
And, oh, yeah, that pie does make a great breakfast!
Thanks for letting me know, dear, and I’m looking forward to the pics.

Melissa
Hey there, Melissa!–Oh, you made me laugh with the term “bloggerette”! The image that immediately came to mind was one of a Smurfette! Thankfully, I don’t have to blue or talk in a funny, high-pitched voice for this role, do I?
Thank you for your sweet and supportive words, dear! I’ll be so happy to have you snooping around over at AGFD.
I’m tickled that you are one of the participating bloggers, too. I know everyone will love the first recipe of yours that I shared there … that Maple Pumpkin Coconut Custard!
xo,
Shirley
