So jealous! Looks like you are eating delicious food and love those California Farmer’s Markets!
-Sea
Hi Sea–The farmers markets are fabulous! It would be such a treat to go to these markets all the time.
See you soon! xo,
Shirley
You so caught me napping. Love it! Do we have to leave?
Diane–I loved catching you guys napping! Well, we don’t have to leave yet!
Shirley
I am totally cracking up at that last picture. Relaxation is truly the name of this vacation. I love all of those photos and that gf pasta is absolutely gorgeous!! And I hope to be in that very same spot again this afternoon. LOL

Not if I beat you to it, LOL!
Heidi–Haha! I think you both got distracted this afternoon.

Shirley
Kim–It’s fabulous to see you so relaxed in your favorite vacation location! That pasta was amazing. So grateful to you for hosting this divine time and taking us to all the best spots!

Great pictures, Shirley! I’m jealous…lol. It’s 37 degrees here in AK and windy. Being in the sun and next to the ocean sounds wonderful right now. Enjoy your time in CA – I’m living vicariously through you!
Megan–Thanks, dear! Wow … 37 already? AK weather … not ready for those temps yet.
The sun and ocean plus time with best buddies is a balm to the soul.
Shirley
Mmmmmmm, next time I want an invitation!
I grew up there!
Heather–Sounds like you’d definitely want to make a trip back home and catch up with some gluten-free girlfriends, too.
Shirley
This looks amazing. Kinda jealous. Just saying.
Hoping you all are having a wonderful time!
Alta–This is the very best time!
Miss you!
Shirley
Reminds me of great times when my club used to go away for the weekend.
Sherri–Those are always good times, huh? We’re so lucky to have such times.
Shirley
This looks like ‘old home week.’ I was born & raised in San Diego! Have a great time.
Hi Marilyn–Yep, we’re not far at all from your home base.
Thanks so much for the good wishes!
Shirley
Seriously? Do you have to rub it in?
You girls better stop all the partying and start planning the next adventure. You know, the one that I’ll be part of! Sniff, sniff.
Melissa
I’m off to find a chocolate bar to drown my sorrows in (with). And as soon as 5 o’clock rolls around, maybe a glass of red wine. So there!
Hi Melissa–So sorry, honey. If I could beam you here for a little bit—like for dinner, plus said red wine and chocolate—I would! Then you could be back home in a jiffy.
Sending you big xo from all!
Shirley
Hi Shirley~
Glad you are enjoying some time here in California. I’m up the road a bit in Davis…about a hour north/east of San Francisco. We are enjoying the same beautiful warm weather here on this end of Cali. Enjoy your time here – eat, eat, rest, and bask in the healing sunshine!!
Be Well,
–Amber
Hi Amber–I’ve heard of Davis before and have visited San Francisco before.
Gorgeous weather for sure. So glad you are getting to enjoy it, too! Thanks so much for the good wishes! Healing sunshine with good friends and good food is indeed a gift!

Hey Shirley!
Did you forget to swing by Georgia and take me with you? What was that? Okay! Next time then!
Hope you have a fantastic time!
Hey Kay–Yes, how did that plane not swing through Georgia?
Thanks for the great trip wishes, dear!
Hugs,
Shirley
All I have to say is boo
Hey Lexie–We’re saying boo, too, dear. So wish you could be with us!

Gorgeous pictures Shirley….we are in rainy monsoons….can you send us some of that sunshine! Enjoy your relaxation time!
Hey Ina–Thanks, dear! Last day of girls’ vacation today and we’ve had wet and rainy the last two days so I can’t send you any sunshine from here, but I’m wishing some for you.
Hugs,
Shirley
