I absolutely love mint desserts—especially delicious gluten-free chocolate mint desserts! I bet many of you do as well. They seem to disappear quickly when served because again so many of us absolutely love that combination.
When they also happen to be green, they’re ideal for upcoming St. Patrick’s Day (March 17) celebrations. Many of these treats are also perfect for National Chocolate Mint Day (February 19). Or any day—today, tomorrow—really because, yum, mint! Again, mint desserts are definitely some of my very favorites, but particularly when they feature chocolate and mint together.

Hey Jillian–Good to see you! I’ve love to link up to your corn-free link party with my gfe recipes when I remember, but I don’t think this roundup would be a good entry. I’m pretty sure that several of these recipes contain corn.

Shirley,
Not only do these recipes look delicious, most of them are made of very healthy ingredients too. There are quite a few that I might try! Thanks for so many wonderful choices especially since we have time to explore and make things while we are shut in.. Hope you are staying well and safe.

Hi Judee–I agree! So many delicious and healthy options here. 🙂 We definitely have more time for cooking and trying new things. Now to find the motivation to do so! These are surreal and often scary times. Stay safe, dear!

Hi Shirley,
Looking through these recipes is exciting for me as I LOVE anything mint. When I was young my parents had a bottle of Creme de Menthe that I think lasted them about 10 years- they were not drinkers but would take it out for New Years for a few sips and a toast each year. I even go to taste it.. so funny haven’t thought of that in years. Thanks for the delicious looking roundup of desserts.
Shirley Braden says
Hi Judee–Thanks so much! I enjoy mint in desserts as much as you do! And I love your family memories of Creme de Menthe! I bet many have the same memories. It’s definitely an old-school spirit and mild-mannered enough to let the kids have a taste as you share. I remember many ads for it and lots of desserts made with it back in the day.

Shirley, Funny but I just pulled some mint brownies out of the oven, sat down to check my emails and saw your post. Chocolate and mint have been a favorite of mine since childhood. Thanks for the great collection of ideas.
Shirley Braden says
Hi, Nancy–I already know you love that combo from your Coconut Chocolate Mint Muffins contribution to March Muffin Madness last year. 😉 I think so many of us love the chocolate and mint pairing! Mint brownies are definitely one of the most popular recipes that uses it. I bet your mint brownies turned out absolutely wonderful. 🙂
