Friends are reporting fabulous harvests of zucchini this year so I thought it was time to update my gluten-free zucchini dessert recipes roundup. I hope you’ll agree!

Goodness, you can use zucchini to make some really incredible gluten-free desserts, folks. I found 75 clearly fabulous gluten-free zucchini dessert recipes in our gluten-free blogging community. Here’s a sampling below.

Sampling of Recipes in This Gluten-Free Zucchini Dessert Recipes Roundup [featured on GlutenFreeEasily.com] (photo)

Who knew there were so, so many excellent gluten-free zucchini dessert recipes? I’ve categorized them into bread recipes, muffin recipes, cake recipes, brownie recipes, and “other” recipes, with information shared on their “free” status (e.g., dairy free, grain free; from my own quick review of the ingredients).

I’ve captured the photos in collages only this time, but you can click on the links to see the full-size photos and, of course, get the recipes on the individual bloggers’ own blogs. Enjoy!

Oh my gosh! I can’t believe this round-up of zucchini recipes. You are one amazing gluten-free dessert blogger. I can’t believe this and am anxious to really go through all these recipes and discover new ways of using zucchini. How fun!! This could be a book! Oooh, that’s not a bad idea. =)

Well, once again, you’ve shown why you really are the queen of GF blogging. Thank you for this, Shirley. I know it must have been a lot of work and those of us out here with tons of zucchini appreciate it!

Melissa–You leave the absolute sweetest comments! 🙂 Thanks, dear! This one did take some effort, but it was worth it! And wouldn’t it be fun to have a zucchini potluck with both savory and sweet recipes? 😉 My friend Lydia of The Perfect Pantry just did a zucchini recipe e-book. 😉

Good timing, Shirley. I have a zucchini the size of a baseball bat available for multi-recipe testing. Already made a batch of my tried and true fresh apple zucchini bread. I still have about a foot and a half of that zucchini left. And some blueberries. Several good options among your VAST selections.

Haha! Fancy comparing your search for recipes to rounding up cattle, you make me giggle! Though I imagine it was probably quite a challenge!! Every year when I read about the gathering of zucchini from the gardens in your part of the world, I envisage gardens full to the brim with nothing but zucchini! It’s a funny vision!

I love that you’re gathering up types of recipes all in one place, so helpful if you’re seeking a recipe and so easy to find another if you’re missing an ingredient for one!

    Thank you 🙂

LOL I LOVE your recent recipe with zucchini and peas! Your local term courgettes sounds even more wonderful than zucchini IMHO. 🙂 Thanks so much for the kind feedback, dear!

Wow- such a great group of recipes Shirley! My Virgo self loves the idea of a collection of one kind of recipes, let alone grouped into categories- perfect!
I was working on my own zucchini cookie recipe and I think I need to just make it one more time but it is just too dang hot here to bake right now. (so I’m working on my jewelry instead!)

This post will certainly help gardeners with lots of leftover zucchini crop! I’m thinking the crops in northern California weren’t stellar this year, as there hasn’t been a big zucchini push at the local markets like usual.

I hope so, Alisa! I wonder if the less than stellar year in CA related to the issues with the shortage of honeybees. I know there weren’t as many almonds this year because of that issue. 🙁

Hi Shirley! I can’t tell you how much you have helped my daughter on her gf journey. (she is 10 months in.) As time has passed, she has eliminated dairy, nightshades, all grains, (most) sugar and beef. It has been quite a lifestyle change for a 21 year old single mom, and full-time college student. The help and encouragement on your blog have been amazing! Thank you so much! We are going to try several of these recipes this week with the fresh produce we have been given. Much love to you for the blessings you provide!

This is my first year to grow zucchini and we have very good soil up here in Minnesota. I had heard the jokes about having an abundance of zucchini and now I understand! Wow! I planted just a few seeds and have huge plants and have brought in some huge ones – they grow over night it seems. I am shredding and freezing and now I have more recipes – thanks! I made zucchini bread already but had a reaction (I am celiac, but have other food allergies not pin-pointed yet) and now wondering if I am allergic to cinnamon, or as someone mentioned – buckwheat. Zucchini breads and deserts all winter now from my freezer.
    Thank you for the recipes!

I, too, have issues with buckwheat. I hope you find many recipes here that you enjoy! There are so many possibilities, huh? 🙂

I love this! We have oodles of zucchini since we let it be known far and wide that we’ll take everybody’s extras to help feed our big family. 🙂 I’ve been using it on the grill and also developed these wonderful triple chocolate zucchini mini donuts (gluten free, dairy free, soy free, corn free, etc. but does have sugar and eggs) and that was a big hit with the kids. I also read a great tip to shred zucchini, press out the moisture and pack it into one cup measuring cups and pop them out and freeze them like that on a baking sheet until hard, then bag them up as one-cup zucchini “pucks” for baking later. I thought that was brilliant and will doing that as well. I’m so happy to have all these recipes to try out with some more of the excess though. Pinned and shared. Thanks!
