It’s National Bacon Lover’s Day (per Foodimentary), which means I’m sharing an updated collection of gluten-free bacon recipes! Who loves bacon? You do? Me, too!
I kind of think that Bacon Day is every day—or any day that I really want bacon. Special day or not, we’re both in luck today because here are 50 gluten-free bacon recipes for all of us bacon lovers.
As you all know, I love delicious recipes as well as a good roundup so when I saw that it was Bacon Lover’s Day, I just had to get to work compiling the best gluten-free bacon recipes for you and me. And there are even recipes for those of you who don’t eat meat. Really.
That’s because there are some recipes included that are vegan or with a vegan option. There are also a few amazing recipes for making your own vegan bacon! How good is this bacon? I came home from an outing to find my collie feverishly trying to get into a gifted jar of coconut bacon (recipe link at the end of this post)! Thankfully, he did not succeed and I still have coconut bacon, albeit with a much sadder looking label.
And if you’re making recipes with traditional bacon, you need to know the best and easiest way to cook bacon, right? You’ll find those links at the end of this post.
Have you by chance tried any of these gluten-free bacon recipes already? Which one makes you want to run into the kitchen right now and get busy creating bacon goodness? Please share all in comments and if you make one of these recipes later, please come back and tell us about it!

Wow do I love bacon and these recipes look scrumptious Shirley! Never knew there was a national bacon day, but bacon works for me any day! 🙂
Shirley Braden says
Ina–I can’t argue with your thinking on Bacon Day being any day! A lot more bacon happens here during the colder months so I’m sure I’ll be back in the bacon baking business soon enough. 🙂

Oh wow, what a fabulous resource this post is, Shirley! It’s especially good for those who need to eat gluten free of course, but even those who don’t will love this collection. That Sweet Potato Bacon Skillet is calling my name! Scheduling to pin and to share on the H&S Facebook page. Thank you for sharing, and for being a part of the Hearth and Soul Link Party. Hope to see you again this week. Have a great week ahead!

Thanks, April!! I have to agree that Megan’s Sweet Potato Bacon Skillet is a beautiful, super appealing dish! I never get tired of bacon although I don’t make it–or bacon dishes–often enough. Thanks for all the sharing! I’m always happy to participate in Hearth and Soul, of course. 🙂

So many recipes, so little time. I don’t know which one to make first. There have been a lot of food shortages lately, but luckily bacon hasn’t been one of them. Bacon is one of those things that most people like, and especially men. My oldest son gets a glazed look in his eyes when he sees pictures of bacon! He saw a meatloaf wrapped in bacon once and he keeps asking me to make it. One of these days I will give in a d do it, but it was a lot of bacon, and it was woven together like a heavily layered lattice topping. That would be one of those things that I wouldn’t want to eat when it was done. I think there can be too much bacon. Three inches of bacon on a meatloaf would be my Waterloo. Luckily these recipes all look good. Thanks for a great collection. I can’t believe how ma y National days there are, but I swear every day of the year has at least one.

Hi Mari–It’s good to see you again! 🙂 I’ve always been surprised and pleased at how little bacon can make a difference in a recipe. I bet that meatloaf would be great with just a few strips of bacon on top. So many recipes are orchestrated like that for the “wow!” photo factor.
There are actually multiple food holidays each day! I like it because the food holidays remind me to share recipes with you all and they also reminds me of my own recipes and inspire me to create new recipes. 😉
