Happy New Year! Before we get too far into 2024, I wanted to share the most popular recipes on gfe last year. The Top 20 Gluten-Free Recipes on gfe for 2023.
Yes, I am easing into the New Year slowly. Hey, my friend April says that’s perfectly okay—and she’s right of course. (Plus, she has some more thoughts if you’re looking for kind and gentle inspiration this year.)
Admittedly, one of the main reasons I end up sharing this collection of the most popular posts each year is because I am avoiding sharing a blogiversary post. The 15th anniversary of gfe just passed!
As is the case every year, I’m working on such a post–and this year, I’ve actually gotten pretty far with it–but who knows if I will complete it and if and when I will share it. Life has a way of pushing me on to “things” that I deem more important. Although this year I am more hopeful than usual.
So, today I give you the recipes that were the most viewed last year. I have only numbered the posts that feature single recipes but I have also “slipped in” recipe roundup posts that occurred in the Top 20 as well, in their order of popularity.
Click on the recipe titles to go to the recipes you’re interested in. I hope you will find some new favorites and are also reminded of some gfe standbys that may temporarily have slipped your mind.
Now starting with the 20th most popular recipe and building up to the most popular recipe this past year, here we go!

Shirley, First off congratulations on your 15th year! That’s quite an accomplishment and a tremendous amount of work. Secondly, the round-up looks wonderful. I can’t seem to get any links from the recipe names or photos to go over to the recipes. Unfortunately, I know my MacBook is starting to give out on me but just wondering if there is something else I might be doing wrong.

Nancy–Thanks so very much! I really appreciate your good wishes and kind feedback! 🙂 As far as the links, oh, boy. I had discovered that I hadn’t added the links yet before I published the post but it appears that somehow the draft with the added links didn’t get saved. Plus, some formatting issues appeared in the published post. Ugh. I am very fallible but occasionally gremlins do appear here. 😉 Anyway, it should be all fixed now! p.s. Your MacBook is not the issue. I hope it keeps serving you for a long time.
Thanks again!
Shirley

Shirley, Thanks for fixing from your end! Everything I checked is now working perfectly. My MacBook, however, will not turn on at all (using my iPad now). So guess I’m computer shopping instead of baking today. I’m looking forward to making a few of these recipes when when granddaughter visit next month. Thanks again. Nancy

You’re so very welcome, Nancy! And I love hearing that you and your granddaughter will do some baking from this collection next month! 🙂
Aww, that’s a shame on your MacBook. 🙁 Happy computer shopping though!
