All My Homemade Ice Cream Recipes (Over 20 of Them) Plus More Chilled Creamy Goodness for You

I’ve collected all my Homemade Ice Cream Recipes and the other ice cream recipes featured on gfe here in one place for you! In part because July is National Ice Cream Month. Yes, it’s almost over but celebrating ice cream is a year-round thing for sure!

National Ice Cream Day is celebrated the third Sunday of July each year. National Ice Cream Sundae Day is July 8. National Peach Ice Cream Day is July 17. National Vanilla Ice Cream Day was July 21 this year (or third Sunday in July each year). National Hot Fudge Sundae Day is July 25. Ice cream’d out yet? Me neither! And again, I certainly don’t plan to stop eating ice cream when July is over. I am guessing if you’re an ice cream lover that you won’t either. 

There are other national food holidays related to ice cream that occur other times during the year. During the first half of the year, you start with Strawberry Ice Cream Day on January 15. February 1 is Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day. (How fun! Don’t forget that one!) June 2 is Rocky Road Ice Cream Day. June 7 is Chocolate Ice Cream Day. June 20 is Ice Cream Soda Day. (When was the last time you had one of those? Son made some while he was here for July 4th. He was just a little late celebrating the official holiday but again, one day is never enough for such celebrations!)

During the second half of the year, there’s also Creative Flavor Ice Cream Day on July 1. (You’ll see by perusing below that I celebrate that vibe often when I create homemade ice cream recipes.) July 17 is Peach Ice Cream Day. August 2 is National Ice Cream Sandwich Day. August 6 is Root Beer Float Day. August 14 is National Creamsicle Day. August 18 is Soft Ice Cream Day. Coffee Ice Cream Day is September 6. September 22 is National Ice Cream Cone Day. (We can celebrate as long as we use gluten-free ice cream cones.) As far as I can tell, there’s no Candy Cane Ice Cream Day but I do have a recipe for you in today’s collection and Candy Cane Day occurs on December 26. Those are not even all the ice cream-related holidays. See … that’s proof that you really can celebrate ice cream all year long!

As is almost always the case with these recipes, I have labeled them (e.g., gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free) so you can easily find the ones that will work for your personal diet. Because as we know, many of us who live gluten free aren’t “just gluten free.”
